The OHPERA consortium is pleased to announce its Final Clustering Workshop, to be held in Valencia on 24 February 2026. The event, From Novel Materials to Solar Hydrogen Futures: Scaling Up Circular Innovation in Europe, will mark a key milestone in OHPERA’s journey, bringing together leading voices from research, industry, and policy to explore the innovation and market potential of photoelectrochemical (PEC) technologies for solar-driven hydrogen and sustainable chemicals.
This full-day workshop will highlight OHPERA’s main technological advances, including halide perovskite nanocrystals and tandem PEC devices designed for green hydrogen production and waste-to-value chemical conversion. Beyond showcasing scientific progress, the event will foster dialogue between academia, industry, and policymakers, identifying tangible pathways to scale PEC innovation from the lab to the market and aligning with the EU Green Deal and Sustainable Hydrogen policy framework.
The Final Clustering Workshop will feature a comprehensive programme of presentations, industry showcases, and panel discussions, offering an open platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities in upscaling PEC systems in Europe.
