OHPERA Final Clustering Workshop sparks innovation as General Assembly wraps up project success

As the OHPERA project enters its final phase, partners gathered in Valencia on 24–25 February 2026 for two milestone events: the Final Clustering Workshop and the Final General Assembly. Together, these meetings marked a decisive step toward translating cutting-edge research into scalable, real-world solutions for Europe’s clean energy transition.

Final Clustering Workshop: bridging innovation and industrial uptake

On 24 February 2026, the OHPERA project reached a defining moment with its Final Clustering Workshop, “From Novel Materials to Solar Hydrogen Futures: Scaling Up Circular Innovation in Europe”, held in Valencia. The event, hosted by LOMARTOV, brought together a vibrant community of researchers, industry stakeholders, policymakers, and innovators.

Designed as a full-day hybrid event, the workshop created a dynamic space to exchange ideas and explore how OHPERA’s cutting-edge developments can transition from laboratory breakthroughs to real-world applications in green hydrogen production and sustainable chemical processes.

Throughout the day, participants explored how advances in materials research and circular approaches can strengthen value chains and support the large-scale deployment of clean energy technologies. The sessions encouraged dialogue between researchers, industry representatives, and innovation stakeholders working to advance Europe’s energy transition.

A standout moment was the live graphic recording by artist Fanny Didou, who visually captured the workshop’s key insights and collaborative energy, offering a creative reflection of the discussions.

A sincere thank you to all speakers for their insightful and inspiring contributions, and to every participant whose active engagement made the workshop a truly dynamic and rewarding experience. The rich exchanges throughout the day fostered meaningful connections between initiatives, opened new avenues for collaboration, and highlighted concrete opportunities for synergy. Together, these interactions are helping to strengthen cooperation across Europe in advancing solar hydrogen technologies and circular innovation pathways.

Final General Assembly

Following the workshop, consortium partners convened on 25 February for the Final General Assembly of the OHPERA Project. The meeting focused on reviewing progress across all Work Packages and coordinating the remaining technical and managerial activities required to successfully conclude the project. Discussions addressed final performance validation, integration activities, and preparations for the concluding reporting phase.

As the project approaches completion, partners reaffirmed their commitment to delivering the final milestones with strong coordination and scientific excellence, contributing to the advancement of scalable photoelectrochemical technologies for solar-driven fuel production.
